Clause 1. Online store terms

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. 

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). 

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature. 

A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

Clause 2. General

2.1 The General Terms and Conditions of Drops By AKA apply to all offers, products, orders, agreements and deliveries of Drops By AKA. By ordering an item you agree to these conditions, please read through them carefully before placing an order. Clause 3. Agreement and Order   

3.1 The agreement becomes binding at the time you place your order. Drops By AKA will process your order after you have paid. Until that time, Drops By AKA will remain the full owner of the product(s).  

3.2 Once your order is processed you will receive a confirmation e-mail confirming that your payment is accepted along with the details* of your order. If you need an invoice including VAT please e-mail to info@dropsbyaka.com 

3.3 All images and specifications are an indication. Various products are handmade so variation may occur. If a product does not meet your expectation it may not be a reason to file a claim.  

Details* this also includes the time it will take to make your order, some of the items are made after you placed your order. It, the proces can take one to four weeks. We will keep close contact with you and keep you informed about the status of your product. Know that it’s made with love, care and personally for you.

Clause 4. Payment and Payment Methods   

4.1 You can choose from the following secure payment methods: Ideal, PayPal and Credit card; Mastercard & VISA.  

4.2 If Drops By AKA, accidentally, has an incorrect price on the website – and it is clear that it is a mistake – we have the right to adapt. Even though you already ordered the article. If Drops By AKA has an error on dropsbyaka.com leading to an incorrect advertised price, we have the right to change the purchase price even after you have ordered the article.

4.3 All product prices shown on dropsbyaka.com are including taxes but excluding shipping costs. Except for in situations referenced in Clause 4.2*    

Clause 5. Delivery

5.1 Drops By AKA delivers all packages through a courier service, with Post NL or other certified transporters in the Netherlands.

5.2 If you accidentally entered an incorrect delivery address or are not home when Post NL or other transporter has tried to deliver the package – and there are therefore extra costs – Drops By AKA passes these additional costs onto you.

5.3 Pre-Ordered Products: please note that delivery times for pre-ordered products may take up to 1-4 weeks from the date of purchase. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure your order is delivered promptly.

5.4 Drops By AKA will send the order as quickly as possible after payment has been received. The delivery time on our item is based on the production time needed for quality control. Drops By AKA always strives to make sure you get your order in the estimated shipping time. If this is not possible, for whatever reason (because an article is temporarily out of stock or for unforeseen complications) you will be notified about this immediately. All orders within the Netherlands carried by PostNL or other transporter will be provided with a track&trace code. This track&trace code will be sent to you by email by PostNL or other transporter right after your package has been shipped out. PostNL or other transporter states to deliver packages within 2 business days after you received the track&trace code. This information is an indication provided by PostNL and we do not guarantee any delivery time based on this information. Please note we are not responsible for any delays, damage or loss once the package has left our studio and is transferred to our carrier.

5.5 Up to the delivery, Drops By AKA bears the responsibility for the order. After the delivery, the responsibility will be transferred to you.

5.6 Please note that the delivery times in clause 5 are estimated. If a product does not arrive within the estimated arrival date, it is not possible to make a claim. However, Drops By AKA will always do everything in its power to make sure your order arrives on time.

Clause 6. Approval period

6.1 Drops By AKA strives that all customers are happy with their purchase. However, we advise you to check the quality and the quantity within seven workdays. If something is not correct please send an e-mail to info@dropsbyaka.com. We will try our best to solve any problems but will not guarantee a credit voucher. Drops By AKA will decide on a case by case basis on how to solve the problem due to quality or quantity.

Clause 7. Returns & Exchanges

7.1 We, of course, hope you will be satisfied with your purchase. Unfortunately, at the moment we don’t accept any returns.

Clause 8. Warranty

8.1 After the seven-day approval period (clause 6.1) Drops By AKA gives a warranty of one month on the quality of the product (this is only applicable for clothes and accessories).

• If it is possible to repair the product, we will repair it
  • If it is not possible to repair the product, we will provide you with a new item

8.2 If we repair or replace the item, this can take up to 14 working days unless communicated otherwise.

8.3 The warranty is void if the product shows a defect which is caused by improper use, if you or others have made or attempted to make changes to the product or used it in a way for which the article is not intended.

Clause 9. Copyright

9.1 All designs, photos and images displayed by Drops By AKA are copyrighted. Without written permission from Drops By AKA, photos and graphics cannot be reproduced and publicly used. For more information please contact info@dropsbyaka.com

Clause 10. Disputes

10.1 All legal relations are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
